400 jobs to come to Newcastle call centre

The company will take over three floors of the city’s most recently completed office building at Gallowgate. Last year saw BskyB employ 500 in Stockport and the news of possible job growth was welcomed as a boost to the economy in Newcastle.

Commentators for BskyB say that the new call centre is needed to meet the demand from new customers wishing to take up their TV, broadband and home phone services.
