Ministers in Northern Ireland have launched a last ditch effort to save 450 jobs at the Stream International call centre in Londonderry.
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has written to the firm’s US bosses urging them to channel more work into the site.
Foster met with staff at the site alongside Employment Minister , Sir Reg Empey, assuring them that Invest UK would make whatever commitments were necessary to help rescue the jobs.
The hardware specialist call centre, whose clients include Dell, BT, JVC and Vodafone, has already received support from the Northern Irish government to the tune of around £1.2m.
