SHEFFIELD telemarketing company VOICE is planning to create 50 new jobs and open a second office in the Sheffield region after winning new contracts with a number of blue chip companies.
The Chesterfield Road company has doubled its turnover every year since it was launched three years ago and is now doubling the amount of work it is doing for energy giants E.ON – a move that means it will increase the number of staff working on the ADVERTISEMENTcontract to 60.
Managing director James Hinchliffe said: "In the last year we have seen a number of national organisations looking to de-risk their in-house call centre operations. Many companies are now looking for flexible outsource partners.
"We have seen significant growth in many of our key client relationships, including Swinton, Npower and Homeserve. We also conduct many projects in the small and medium enterprise market place, such as appointment generation and market research."
VOICE lays claims that, after relocating to the former Chantrey Picture House in Woodseats and turning it into a state of the art call centre, with a training suite and an internet café, it is now the largest employer in the area.
The company currently employs more than 150 people and aims to acquire facilities within the next 12 months that would allow it to grow to 500. << Archive
