    55 jobs move to call centre

    About 55 jobs are being moved to a Barrow call centre after a firm decided to shut a call centre in Ireland

    Development agency Furness Enterprise helped Agilisys to get an assisted areas grant from the Government to move the jobs to south Cumbria.
    Agilisys now provides 290 jobs in the town and said up to 80 more could follow if other contracts are won.<< Archive
