Call centre scam brought down by Taiwanese police

The gang’s aim was to get unsuspecting customers to transfer money to the bogus company’s bank account. Most of the gang were immigrants to Thailand and were captured by investigators from the Taiwanese Immigration Bureau.

The “home office” had 14 telephones with internet capability, six laptops and CCTV cameras tracking the outside of the house supposedly to be on the look out for police.
