The study aims to look at the benefits and costs associated with these ways of working, identify the best of both models and provide reccomendations on how to improve them.

In particular, they are interested in how workers' roles, job content, identity and commitment might vary between these two ways of working and the impact this has on wellbeing and performance.

The researchers are applying for fuunding from one of the research councils, so there is no cost to participation, and confidentiality is guaranteed, with results fed back without identifying individual responses.
