Indian call centre staff taught Australians are dumb

 Andrew Marantz, a journalist for Mother Jones magazine, spent weeks undertaking training in the Dehli Call Centre.  He was told to speak slowly to Ozzy customers as they tended to be technologically “backwards”.

The recruits were also told to ring during Australian’s dinner time and ask them to switch phone provider.  They were taught about Ozzy pop culture in the hope that they would build a rapport with their customers.
 
One other comment that has shock readers was that the tutor said that Australians drink constantly and if you call on a Friday night they would all be drunk.
