The move to the firm’s HQ in Sheffield will create 150 jobs in the city, with a further 100 staff moving from Durban to Yorkshire, according to a report on ZDNet UK.
Bob Pullen, customer support at Plusnet, was quoted by ZDNet UK as saying: “While we’ll be sad to say goodbye to our friends in South Africa, we feel really excited about bringing all of our services back to Sheffield, and this gives us a great opportunity for us to improve our service even more.”
The regional development agency Yorkshire Forward has apparently helped fund the relocation to the tune of £1.8 million.
